Even the most seasoned travellers are apprehensive about arriving at a new airport, or into a new country. We always provide as much information as may be necessary during the booking process to assist our customers, both as a welcome and to ease their journey, so that they can be more relaxed and comfortable. Entering new surroundings is always stressful, and we are frequently asked the following questions -

How will we locate our driver after the flight arrives ?

Your driver will be at the exit from the Customs Hall and Arrival Centre inside the airport terminal to meet you, and will be holding a sign with your name written upon it. The airport terminal can be very crowded - if you cannot locate your driver, please call us immediately on +44 (0)1799 516129 so we can make contact and arrange a convenient meeting point for you within the terminal building.

What will happen if our flight gets delayed ?

We monitor all incoming flights, so we are aware of any delays to your flight, or even if it may arrive early. No matter how long any delay, you can be confident that your driver will still be waiting for you - without any extra charge or other cost penalty.

How long will our driver wait for us to clear Customs ?

Your driver will normally wait for 60 minutes after your flight's arrival, and will then contact us and make enquiries within the terminal, while checking with the information desk and having your name paged. Only after another 15 minutes will your driver leave the terminal, providing we have still not heard from you, and there is no indication of any serious delays within the Customs Hall and baggage clearance. We strongly recommend that, if you think it will take more than one hour to leave the Customs Hall and clear baggage reclaim, you call us so that we can tell the driver to wait for you.

Can I use my mobile telephone ?

We always strongly recommend that, if you have a mobile telephone that can be used in the UK, you call us as soon as you enter the terminal from the aircraft. We will contact your driver, who will then call you directly to jointly establish timing and meeting points, etc. Many of our customers actually call us from their departure airport, both to establish and confirm contact and to advise any changes in their flight times or other travel details.

What methods of payment are acceptable ?

We accept cash payment in £pounds sterling, US$ dollars and £pound sterling travellers cheques. We also accept all major credit cards, details of which are normally taken during the booking process. Most of our drivers can also accept the major credit cards, but this might be subject to an additional credit card handling charge when handled through them.

How long does the journey take from Stansted airport to London City ?

Depending on the time of day and traffic conditions, it normally takes about an hour from Stansted to central London, either to the City financial district, or the West End hotel, commercial, shopping and entertainment areas.

Can your office contact our driver while he is in the airport terminal or driving ?

Yes, all our drivers carry mobile telephones and we maintain contact with them at all times.

Do you arrange other transfers apart from airport trips ?

Yes. We can arrange shopping trips, sightseeing tours, transport for a series of business visits and meetings, etc. We provide prestige vehicles from executive saloons and MPV's (People Carriers) to Limousines and luxury mini-coaches for individual journeys or on a hourly or daily rate basis - and all at very competitive rates.
